Who are we?
Central Coast Funds for
Children was established in May 1993 to
benefit children
in need of special services in San Luis Obispo County. We are
a publicly supported, non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization.
All donations are tax-deductible (Identification No. 77-0338513), and all
donations stay in our county to help local children. CCFC has no paid
staff - all activities are run by volunteers. Less than 6%
of the income raised goes to expenses.
Funds are raised through
INDIVIDUAL &
BUSINESS
donations and special fundraising events such as
the very successful annual
Soup Supper. All
monies are generated by the volunteer membership of Central Coast Funds for Children.
These funds are distributed to organizations
which benefit children in the San Luis Obispo County Area through a grant
process.
Applications for these funds are received throughout the year.
How to apply for funds.
When applying for funds you
will be required to:
1.
Give a
brief history of your organization and list the members of your Board of
Directors
2.
State
your non-profit status (i.e. 501-C3, 501-C2, etc.)
Please enclose a copy of your 501-C3, if applicable
3.
Inform
CCFC if you receive government funding
4.
Inform
CCFC of the number of children that are served and how they are served
5.
Include
a copy of your budget
6.
Inform
CCFC of how our donation is going to be recognized
